Intellects much greater than my own have debated what sins might lead to death and which may be forgiven. Is it murder? Is it genocide? Or is the unforgivable something as simple as adultery or the degradation of consciousness through abuse of drugs? There are essentially two answers to the nature of sin when held up to the standard of God’s grace.
